If you see this, reply with a picture that illustrates what it’s like living in the UK
"What about this case from three decades ago about a completely different thing? That guy was white."
They've actually put it on the front page. As has the Daily Mail, though the latter with a racist spin. Of course.
Now, I'm not a journalist, nor have I been following this story at all. But, I'm slightly concerned that the Russian abduction of Ukrainian children and placing them into brainwashing camps is not the main story on the Guardian and that this ivory tower drama is...
That dab was all I managed. And I actively like hot food. This stuff is fucking insane.
Apparently, Nolan's failure to shoot scene for an R-Rated summer blockbuster movie is "woke" and the end of western civilisation itself.
Catching up on this, but nice to see the universe correct itself. Perhaps we will avoid Americans who haven't watched football before lecturing us on why the US will win the whole thing.
To bbq or not to bbq, that is the question. From the ice age to the dole age, there has been but one concern... etc.
Just had a post liked by *the* @manmademoon.bsky.social who made three of the best films of the last 25 years! Moon and Source Code are two of the best sci-fi flicks in decades and Warcraft is the best video game film ever.
Let's not. It would force MPs to retain a PM they have no confidence it. Would the Tories have removed Truss if they had to fight a General Election? Probably not. A PM is not a President and our constitutional arrangement grants power from elected MPs, PMs don't have a personal mandate.
Dan Neidle has amassed a reputation for skewering politicians on their numbers. But I think he has a wee bit too much faith in the brilliance of the titans of industry. A quick persual of the business pages of Private Eye should provide ample evidence that stupidity is the norm.
The Office for Students won't tell us how much money they pissed away on their doomed investigation of Sussex @sussexucu.bsky.social. Apparently, they don't know. But they will reveal they spent half a million quid on lawyers. Taxpayer money @ohgodwhatnow.bsky.social @mrjamesob.bsky.social
Now he is 11, and puts himself to bed when you've just made it for your elderly relatives. He gives no fucks. I genuinely did not set this up. He put himself like this.
Classic! I regularly drive past the Piddles. One to visit for scenic delights, obviously:
Reform would actively ban any discussion that trans people even exist.
I'm not advocating voting for Labour, I'm advocating voting against Reform. We do not need to look back into the depths of 20th century history for lessons here, we can look at what is happening in the US right now. This is what Farage openly wants:
@alastaircampbell2.bsky.social. according to Prof Stephen Fisher, Reform needed to crack 2050 net gains to be on track. They haven't cracked 1,500. What does this tell us about Reform? Are they a busted flush? #TheRestIsPolitics
Professor Stephen Fisher, a polling and elections expert at Oxford, argued that to be on track, Reform needed to win +2050 net gains. They haven't cracked 1500. They underperformed the polling projections by 80-100 seats.
