Fundamentally disagrees that games should be played to know how they run. This is is the same type of dipshittery as saying, "Playtesting is unnecessary, as my designs are always perfect". Dude thinks he's more capable than then entire RPG industry because they play it to see how it runs.

Many editors & readers hate book prologues. Mostly do to years of authors using them as info-dumps. I feel a perfect prologue would be like Blade's. A short pre-title scene without context, & then opening credits. So Prologue, Title Page, Ch1. The story explains the prologue. Not the other way.

I was just talking to a buddy last week about how much I want to watch Zero Hour! (1957). Because they bought the rights, Airplane! (1980) is technically a remake instead of a spoof.

Two years ago I made the rather obvious statement that D&D was changing editions. I was called a drama farming fearmonger. Later, it was confirmed to be, in truth, a new edition (gasp!). I hope the Class of 2024 Grognard Graduates are doing well.

Finally got around to checking out The Past is Red. It was fantastic, and weird, and whimsical, and so damn depressing. Loved it. It follows a woman who was raised on a floating island of garbage centuries after rising seas drowned the world.

Finally watched Good Luck Have Fun Don't Die. Somehow both more and less weird than I'd hoped. But I enjoyed it. Imagine if Kyle Reese went back in time to assemble a team of randos from a diner to stop the Metaverse, but have to battle killer AI prompts with giant wangs.

Those pupils are way too parallel for my skills. Mine usually have one perfect eye and one grotesque horror that's caked under layers, weirdly bulging, and staring off in an unnatural direction. Modern and sci-fi minis where they're wearing shades are always a relief.

Wanna hear a secret? I knew that, too. I even made a fun graphic, just to be extra clear. The reason I put this video off for 2 years was the dread of dealing with those people. So the boundary warnings were clearly posted. They did it to themselves.

Once again, some random dumbass pops up in a general RPG video to spew a bunch of ignorant nonsense about skills in RPGs as being "new" and "modern" (or "progressive mind-think"). Clearly "modern games" means, "Before 1976" or "Before 1985 in you only count D&D." He's not biased. He says so.
