Ever since my daughter was born I had this ‘meme’ in mind. Today I get to post it.
Since it might be the last chance, I decided to watch Mandalorian and Grogu again.
The 10 year old Star Wars Celebration London 2016 crew shirts arrived. 2 for 3,50€. Couldn’t pass on the opportunity. It was a special celebration for me. Rogue One and all. It’s where I fell in love with the Shoretrooper armor and the rest is history.
I gotta say. As someone who pretty much stopped reading Star Wars novels because most stories didn’t interest me (sorry but never connected to the High Republic stuff) I’m actually excited about this. Maybe I need to know my characters from the screen. And I’m always up for more Leia and Rey.
My new Star Wars armory is taking shape so I felt it was time to honor the mightiest gladiator in the galaxy with a prime spot next to the entrance. Sound on. 🔊
A note I took after the first appearance of Qimir. I knew people who didn’t think Palpatine was gonna be the emperor after watching The Phantom Menace, so I’m pretty used to fans ‘not getting it’.
Years ago I bought a ferry droid kit at a Disney outlet. I didn’t want to sacrifice any of my droid depot droids so when I found a bare one on eBay (!) I had to get it. Coincidentally I even had extra panels I got at the same occasion.
For the longest time I’ve been looking for a droid body. Finally found one. Can you guess what for?
Guess I’m getting all the Mandalorian merch featuring that repurposed Shoretrooper helmet for my extensive Shoretrooper collection. Currently relocating everything into a bigger, new space so photos will follow soon.
The new place has plenty of space but also some doorframes of doors that are not used anymore so I had an idea what to do with it. Not done yet, I’ll paint the frame and add some greeblies for a more authentic look. Please also note the screen accurate wallpaper (not final look of the room).
Never heard of them but It says Super Star Wars so it was in the video game not the movie.

Picked 2 more this weekend (there was a third one but the guy wanted double I paid for 2 for his 1). Moved the entire collection to the new location and I have to admit, I had lost count and was surprised how many I have. So if you come across one, please let me know!!! I collect AST-5 mini rigs
Well who’d have thought.. I’m very happy with a Star Wars world consisting of Mandalorian, the Acolyte and Andor.
Vienna Comix is always great fun. It’s small but has more vintage Star Wars and MotU than all the big conventions so I always come here with my wife to troop with the Austrian Garrison. This time as ATAT pilot and TIE pilot (=me). @the501stlegion.bsky.social

Glad I managed to finish the helmet in time for Vienna Comix, so I swapped Snowtrooper helmets for fun. Love how it turned out. My son also wanted to wear a costume so he picked his Spider-Man in an act of early defiance.

That was MCM Comic Con London for me this time. Did a lot of walking and some fun stuff I’ve never done before like miniature painting. Did some #shoretrooper stuff and met K2SO. He had to take a photo with me. Cassian said so. Now off to watch Mandalorian and Grogu for the 3rd time.
In defense of Star Wars I have to say that there was also zero presence of Mattel at the comic con and this poster at the train station is the most I’ve seen in terms of #mastersoftheuniverse promo. Very odd.
