Lucy used the School’s collection of replica artefacts, reproduced from our Bridges Collection of Cypriot objects, from the Bronze Age to Byzantine and Roman periods. The pupils also had a go at excavation, using dig trays and recording carefully what they found. #tbt #schoolvisits #archaeology
Earlier this year, Dr Lucy Wadeson, an archaeologist in the School of Classics, visited two primary schools in Perth. Lucy worked with pupils from P3 – P5 (ages 6-10). She explained what an archaeologist does, before the pupils examined artefacts themselves.
