We also paid a solidarity visit to a bereaved family in Haifa who lost a son, Wiam Osama Faysal, to soaring crime. We sat together and shared the immense grief. Some 154 Palestinian citizens of Israel have been killed since the beginning of the year.

In Jaffa, Palestinians and Jews stood at the Clock Tower to protest discrimination of Palestinian workers. Signs read “my language is not a crime” and “it’s my right to speak in my mother tongue.”

Our Nazareth and HaEmek local chapter stood against crime and violence along with the local council in the Palestinian town of Deir Hanna in northern Israel.

We were in the Palestinian city of Tamra in northern Israel to stand in solidarity with the family of Yasser Abu al-Hija, a victim of violent crime in Palestinian society – and our government’s purposeful neglect.

1/ A clear-cut execution in broad daylight. Amir Ahmad Jawad Jaber was 15 years old when he was killed by Israeli soldiers yesterday during a raid in the occupied West Bank. His killing is part of a broader pattern in which Palestinian children are systematically killed under occupation.
