This was 2nd hand in Freedom Bookshop, so I snapped it up. It's a copy of the book I gave to Gardyloo Spew for her birthday in 1993, which inspired her Bog album and my Bog Body song. Good to see the St Bees man's face again, and my old pals Tollund Man & Lindow Man.

Two torcs—one bronze, one rope. From Glob's The Bog People. As a boy, I always wanted a torc—so my dad fashioned one out of a hefty copper cable which caught the hairs on my neck and bruised my clavicle. Still want a (dainty) one.
