Someone put a parcel in the wasp nest post box so Royal Mail signalled its out-of-use status by stuffing a poly bag in the slot. People keep taking it out as it looks like vandalism, but Royal Mail keeps shoving it back in. The wasps are fine, they can get in and out 🐝

I'm busy behind the scenes and haven't been posting much, even though there are so many people in the world who haven't seen a cloth goblin, a cloth troll or any of the other creatures I make! The cloth trows are now metal cloth trows! The master castings are looking looooovely so now it's on with prepping these for production moulding. But first I'm going to enjoy finally having these wee guys in the material they were always intended to be ✨

Finally got the cloth trow master mould cooked! 🧑‍🍳 It has passed the cloth goblin inspection. One step closer to eventually getting these wee things on sale. Eventually.

The cloth goblins are guarding the post box nearest me because there's a wasp nest inside and it's out of use (the post box not the wasp nest). Therefore, I'm posting orders on Tuesday and Friday mornings only, when I go to the local post depot with tracked stuff. Thank you for your patience 🫡

Today I'll be making a right old mess scrubbing graphite powder onto the trow prints. Along with PTFE spray this stops the prints sticking to the silicone. Mould tears cause tears😭 It also shows up any remaining print lines or flaws. Better to fix that now than have it show up in the metal masters.

Now I'm done printing loads of unpleasant space people, I can get back to preparing the cloth trows for master moulding and glorious metal! Unlike the other resin, this stuff is super brittle so I'm prepping loads as I always break something when I'm laying out the mould. I'm very clumsy.
