My old boy Vaughn Nooper was allergic to chicken, it was definitely eye opening for me as an 18 year old kid trying to find something my puppy could actually eat! We lost him last year and the other dogs have been -shocked- and excited about all the chicken treats they get now!

Full blood GSD sleeping at the end of the bed with my wife and I. She is a guard dog in her mind first and foremost so this is a top tier feeling, knowing she feels safe enough to snore at our feet. With her Lamby of course!

Today I said goodbye to my boy Vaughn Nooper. He loved everyone he ever met and was every single thing a dog is meant to be. He will be missed more deeply than words go.
He was quite pleased with this and slept in his usual spots- either taking all of my leg space, my wife's leg space, or trying to squeeze his entire body between the two of us. Dogs teach us endless lessons.
