Recently, a GC lawyer named Akua told me on X to stay out of ladies' toilets. Fortunately, the places I frequent have other ideas.
A truly fabulous day yesterday at Brighton Trans Pride, with Unite the Union, where, in the afternoon, I got to do a short speech on the main stage and even meet the mayor.
Currently in a Toronto Railway Station. This is one import from the Americas we definitely want!
Breaking: Following a meeting with the EHRC on Friday, TransLucent agreed to write to them EHRC on Sunday to reconfirm some of our concerns. A small section of this letter is redacted.
TransLucent was in Parliament yesterday. I was happy to attend and give many MPs an update on the numerous FOI investigations, which I kicked off nearly five years ago. Data now exists that there are no issues with trans women using single sex spaces.
If I really wanted to upset the transphobes on X, I would tell them Marks & Spencer bras are the best, that their fitting service is second to none, that their cubicles come with lockable doors and modesty curtains so the fitters never see your boobs..... but I wouldn't do that, would I?
Likes are nice, but votes are so much better - and I need 100s of them. This is not an LGBT award; it's for being an intersectional feminist and fighting for women with endometriosis. A huge "thank you" for the nomination - please vote. www.nationaldiversityawards.co.uk/awards-2026/...
TransLucent's letter to the Minister for Health and Social Care, sent earlier today.
Looking forward to this event, which I will be attending. Meet the team from Unite the Union on Monday, 9th February, at 3:00 PM in Slough.
Currently, on X, the gender-critical are complaining bitterly about windows and paint. Apparently, the damage thereof has interfered in their hate fest of trans people. Nothing was said earlier in the week about this, though. ⬇️
Option 1: Sit on social media and moan. Option 2: Advocate to the "decision makers." That's why TransLucent is at the Labour Conference.
A huge thank you to everyone who voted for me in the Positive Role Model (Gender) Catergory - National Diversity Awards 2025. Gender is not an LGBT category, so I was delighted to be shortlisted for the final eight. Many congratulations to Alex Knight of STEMazing, the deserved winner!
Can you imagine an organisation that is meant to represent trans people would discriminated against trans women? Note that they also use the word "identify" on their nomination form. A scandal.
This evening, @transalliance.bsky.social launched our bid to become officers of LGBT Labour, which has failed to support the trans community for several years. It's time for change. If you are an LGBT Labour member, please register to attend the AGM and support our slate.
I was the elected Women's Officer at Portsmouth Labour Party for three years. During my tenure, I increased the size of the Women's WhatsApp group twelvefold and won an Inspirational Woman of Portsmouth Award. Now, the party has banned me because I am transgender Discrimination.
The likely situation is that this organisation would prefer to cancel the Labour Women's Conference than allow a trans woman to be a delegate.

It is an absolute pleasure to join the students of Portsmouth University for #TDOV in a protest regarding the lack of trans healthcare.
I'm not a mum, although I was a single parent of three kids at one point, which felt like being both a mum and a dad. However, on Mother's Day, what a lovely thought from one of my girls.
As we near the end of Endometriosis Awareness month, I was delighted to represent Endometriosis South Coast in a parliamentary event recently. The sad fact being, only Tory MPs attended. 😪
Having spent two full days at an NHS Women's Healthcare Conference, all I experienced was sisterhood and inclusion. The haters say they speak for women. They don't.
