So pre-Covid they definitely were friendly bowers but immmediately after Japan reopened to tourism they were decidedly more feral lol I have no idea what they are like now I’ll get back to you in June

Found this old photo I had taken of the TV for some reason. Did I know this plane? Was I proud of it? Or did I just think that it was funny that the headline was “plane lands” (bc I currently think it is funny)?
It looks like today (at 99°) is the peak of the heat and tomorrow it will start moving into the 80s again My dogs won’t even go outside & they are normally indifferent to anything but thunderstorms
I brought five lbs of salt water taffy to a thing recently but luckily I only really liked two of the flavors (which differed dramatically from the favorites of others, except we mostly agreed the anise was just a speedbump designed to slow consumption)
I said it so much I made an image that I then made again with a bird and again for Bluesky
I had a rescue dog whose tail was amputated due to an attack. I hope no one looked at her and thought I should lose my children

We are in a “yes but” state - I had a neighbor cut parts of the tree in my backyard & a lawyer I had worked for got very excited & had me take a bunch of pictures, but nothing came of it (I did not want to sue my neighbor, he was an otherwise good neighbor who was not trying to hurt the tree)
Every time someone mentions what a project will do to the value of my home I tell them I have no intention of selling so the value of my home is in its ability to bring me, personally, comfort and joy. If I want to drink lemonade in a hammock next to an alligator, I will, property value be damned
