And today we welcomed a whole new group of computer students before hopping across the river to Six Mile Regional Library for a graduation ride to Wilson Park, Mr. Twist and more with our newest graduates! We hope they love their bikes and ride them well and often. 4/X
On top of all of this? On Friday an amazing group of youth with Junior Optimist International, from across North America, purchased and assembled *24 bicycles* for St. Louis-area youth in our Earn-A-Bike programs. Our team gathered with them at SLU to help complete the project. 3/X
Earn-A-Bike and Earn-A-Computer class sessions underway in Soulard, U. City, St. Louis Hills, Granite City, Lake Saint Louis and Alton. Our students and teachers and support crews pushed hard on multiple fronts, as did the incredible team helping prepare our soon-to-be new home in Shaw. 2/X

teacher Chad told the computer campers at Central Library how big computers were when *he* was a kid during a hardware overview :-) ...and the way our bike campers *raced* back to their Learn-To-Ride fleet following snack time at Machacek. On Tuesday we started the morning with a wonderful email from a Learn-To-Ride parent that read in part, “My son, [___], got a bike for his third birthday. He fell the very first time and refused to touch a bike again for the next five years! I am so thankful that BWorks offers these lessons

This first week of June is off to a strong start with some wonderful pilot partnerships to celebrate. Those include our two-cohort Earn-A-Bike offerings at Little Creek Nature Area in partnership with the Ferguson-Florissant School District, which is even providing bus transport
That’s a wrap on bike buses for this school year. Let’s all keep an eye out for these great kids rolling into summer break on two wheels!
And yesterday held two more class sessions, including our first-ever Earn-A-Bike launch at Bellefontaine Rec (shout out to Great Rivers Greenway for supporting this Maline Greenway-adjacent class, and to the entire rec center team for being so welcoming!).
