My little Effie Belle is actually handling it quite well this year. I’m pleasantly surprised. Usually she’s shaking and wants to sit on my head. Literally.
My son and I graduated from St. Louis Community College last night, with the same degree even. It was long, but a lot of fun. Over 900 students showed from the largest class ever. #STLCC #Graduation
Went to the #StLouisZoo yesterday in the afternoon, then went back for the Animal Glow Up. It’s was gorgeous! The Glow is only thru the 17th.
This was Strider, one of the best dogs I’ve ever had. He could sleep wherever he wanted. 🖤
We had a blast last night at the St. Louis Symphony Orchestra’s Infinity Saga concert. If you’re in the area and love the MCU, go this weekend. I wish I could take a decent selfie. 😂
1/Lost one of my dogs tonight. Pippin, named after the hobbit, of course, was 16, mostly blind and deaf. Poor little guy started eating maybe a table spoon of food 2 weeks ago. Took him to the vet on Monday. Tried what we could, but he stopped eating entirely on Thursday. His passing was quick and
‘Night Terrors’ in season 4 is one of my favorite Next Gen episodes. The scene with Crusher in the morgue is so creepy.

The price of gas seems to be going up at least 20 cents every other day or so. We’ll hit $4/gal next week. We were around $2.75/gal at that QT before Trump’s exclusion began.
The last thing anyone diagnosed with a potentially terminal cancer should have to worry is how they’re going to pay for treatment. I’m lucky. I’ve been on Medicare since I became disabled in 2009. Estimated costs for my Whipple on Tuesday. Doesn’t include the 7-14 days inpatient after.
My friend found these #crochet patterns the other day. They’re life sized. I wish I’d known about them when I was taking A & P last year. I’m making a set of GI organs for the hepatopancreaticobiliary surgeon who’s about to save my life in a little over a week. #pancreaticcancer

The temperature change in St. Louis over the last 24 hours has been stunning, lol. Yesterday at 6:00am it was 65 degrees, with a high of 77 at 3pm. Right now it’s 16 with a wind chill of -4. That is insane. I’m glad I remembered to turn my heat back on. #stlwx
My cat caught in mid-meow the first time I saw her in my neighbor’s tree. 😂
