So I haven't been following this case, but my immediate reaction to this piece is that this journalist has clearly never been to a British Sociological Association conference.
This is very good. The criticism of Tuchel is pretty much unanswerable IMO. It's made all the more frustrating by how positive TT was at the start of the tournament.

By coincidence, I was explaining to the students yesterday that the homicide rate today is *exactly the same* as it was in 1975. If you overlook Harold Shipman, Hillsborough, etc. it's not fluctuated much.
