I've been playing games that've a Fumito Ueda-esque vibe to them and I'll say this about Prince of Persia (2008) - despite all the complaints about its ease, its simple combat scheme and simplified platforming, I can't help but praise its character work and frankly incredible art style...
This game is glorious! Its levels and gameplay thread that balance between yesteryear jank and somewhat modern control schemes. I'd go so far as to say that the jank only adds to the game's character... #TheLastGuardian
