Two down, one more started, 17ish to go. I did a modified single-crochet starting chain for the diamond section and it looks way better.
Working on the first of 19 squares for the Diamond Heirloom Blanket with Lion Brand Yarn Cotton DK in cream. It’s very pretty, although I think the increase side looks a little wonky. I might do a modified single crochet for the chain 3s at the beginning of the row for the next square..
If you haven’t already, get your @thewaroncars.bsky.social keychain! For all your bike lock keys 😆
Changed the brakes on my VanMoof. Every time I want to get rid of this bike it’s like “oh hey, I’m pretty easy to maintain” and I’m like uhg I gotta keep it.
Reminds me of when I took a bunch of flowers home on the lightrail 🥰
I’m making granny squares and using the leftovers to make the Scrappy Bucket Hat by LisAuch Crochets. Yarn is Hobbii rainbow 8/8 in lots of colors.
Finished all the weaving in for the neck and arm holes. Next is the side seam. #knitsky
Playing a little bit of yarn chicken with this I-cord bind off for my affectionately named Mermaid dress. Yarn is Hobbii rainbow cotton 6/8 in lots of colors. Pattern is Tamarin Dress by Muki Crafts (start as size small with Chinese waitress cast-on, no waist decreases, finish top as size L).
Did the CLT critical mass tonight, I love seeing the joy on peoples faces when we ride by 🥰
Checking out the greenway underpasses after a heavy rain to see how wet-muddy they are. Definitely not impassable today, thankfully.
And done. Deets in alt text. I’m so much faster at crochet than knitting and I also don’t mind weaving in ends in crochet.
I have at least two knitting projects I am 80% done with. Time to start a completely new project! I forgot how much I love crochet 🥰
Since I started as a crochet crafter I have a ton of different sized crochet hooks. I can’t imagine doing a three needle bind off this without a crochet hook!
I am being a very good girl and I’m knitting a gauge swatch before I start my new dress.
7 y/o playing dominoes with bricks he spotted in an abandoned bucket. Cities are great for kids 😂
I have one project in process so that’s the right time to start a whole new project, right? Thanks @lawgeek.bsky.social for sharing the pattern for the January scarf by Annie Baker. I’m knitting mine with a lace weight yarn that was gifted for an extra challenge!
@thewaroncars.bsky.social I have a very odd request: can we get keychains? I have two sets of bike lock keys and I’d love to have a new keychain for them! (Shoutout to my Urbanists with multiple bike lock keys 😂)
Join me as I take the train then walk half-a-mile to get flowers for a local business because I really don’t want to drive.
Learning a new cast on. These needles are microscopic compared to what I’m used to!
I’ve been putting this off for a month at least. Very vague pattern for a beginner-oriented project. The pattern basically says “pick up stitches, work in 1x1 and good luck” 😩
Some traffic violence this morning to remind me how dangerous slip lane islands are.
My city just installed a bunch of these. Anyone have any experience with them? I haven’t used them myself.
Process of making a “Billy La Bufanda” scarf for my youngest. I’ve never done tassels for a scarf before but this seems like a whole deal. Also I need to finish weaving in all my ends 😅
