UK emigrant. Finally binned British passport to avoid saying: 'No todos somos racistas en reino unido' (we're not all racists in the UK but 52% of voters in 2016 probably were). UK's key challenge? Stop Reform's fascism. Almost vegan.. but cheese 🙄
She spoke illegal words. I fear you broke the law by posting that. And by looking at this.
This is disastrous for Sánchez but predictably the fact-free far right are claiming he welcomes it.
So is Grimes lying or just mistaken? I imagine he doesn't really know who Sánchez is but sees an opportunity today to attack 'the Left'.
Went down well in my town. Thoughts & prayers to Argentina and Trump 🤣
I think the BBC is the UK's most important cultural asset. It's made terrible errors and has caused widespread anger but it's not Fox News or Murdoch or Viscount Rothermere. For all its faults it's something to be defended. But that's difficult when it publishes loving reviews of a neo-nazi rally.
Speaking with Spanish person about building regulations... Me: 'How can this possibly be allowed? Someone could stick one finger in the power and the other in the water' Spanish person: 'Yes but no-one would ever do that' Me: 'We would. We're the nation that voted to leave the EU' 😐
It's not hindsight. A year ago I posted this headline and suggested this comment made Mandelson an unsuitable choice for Labour. How is it possible that someone not even living in the UK could see this and Starmer couldn't? Does Starmer think it's funny to laugh at the idea of 'woke'?
At least it's just a gadget. Here's the help offered to English speakers in Spain trying to use the official online personal identification system.
Guess they don't have AI in the White House? AI easily contradicts him.
If anyone still doubts that he exploits the ill-informed and the poorly-educated this makes it pretty clear. Must be a lot of MAGAs feeling bruised. If only German had a word for it. gettrumpmemes.com
Of course leaving without support wasn't ideal but the more the effects of leaving are felt the tougher it gets for British politicians.
This was supposedly the reason for the ban so now they've been acquitted it must be safe to say I SUPPORT PALESTINE ACTION www.theguardian.com/uk-news/2026...
His moronic followers have also been busy sending each other this. Proves his commitment to public health doesn't it. And no doubt their hero paid for the 'Center' out of his own pocket. 🤢
To be fair to them they're probably busy trying to work out who awards the Nobel Peace Prize
From Belgium: "White House confuses Belgium with 'Belarus' and wrongly puts our country on list of Peace Council participants".
BBC News is at it again. While mangling English grammar they report that maybe the Norwegian government choose Nobel Laureates or maybe they don't. "If someone says it's raining and another person says it's dry...your job is to look out the fucking window and find out which is true" Jonathan Foster
Excellent and much-needed piece but an important inaccuracy: a ban is surely extremely unlikely to scupper Musk's interference in British politics.
Apparently the Gammon are busy sharing this. Hard to tell if it's a spoof but I think maybe not. Pretty sure after the referendum he said 'You lost get over it. No need for another vote'.
What do I like about the Daily Express? I think it's the surrealism.
I wonder how many British people would have voted to leave the EU if they'd known they'd be thousands of pounds worse off. Tomorrow's budget is just part of this process.
"Poor Boris. He was doing his best" Must all be the fault of 'his brain' Dominic Cummings.
I wish British people would stop saying they don't think Reform will win the next general election. I don't think there'll be nuclear war or another pandemic so let's not bother. 🙄
