The political conversation around ADHD at the moment is completely braindead. This article had to go through the writer's head and multiple editors - someone will have pointed out that OBVIOUSLY you shouldn't take medication for a condition if you don't have it. They pretended this wasn't an issue.
So there's this script coverage service I keep seeing ads for that says it'll read your script and tell you what's wrong with it and they keep using famous films as examples. Problem is: if this famous film succeeded despite it's supposed problems...what's the point of the feedback?
My pitch for a doctor who reboot: entirely 25 minutes short trips about random characters encountering Dr who monsters and the doctor only appears in dream sequences and he takes the form of that weird kettle thing from twin peaks the return
I feel Michael in Small Prophets is more like the Doctor than any of the recent ones. Pottering around in his shed, barely acknowledges it when people are pointing out he's being weird. I feel him being an oddball is what Doctor Who's missing. Capaldi was the last one who was like that.
Soo...this is weird. The thumbnail from my brasseye video ended up in this guardian article about 100 years of television. Not a link, just a picture of the thumbnail.... guessing they pulled it off image search without checking www.theguardian.com/tv-and-radio...
Christmas wouldn't be Christmas without.... (Complete the catchphrase for 15 points)
Emily got me the new Sayaka Murata - cannot recommend her books enough she's wonderfully unique
Feeling really emotional now I've finally posted Bright Lights. It was the last thing I was working on when Cleo died last year. RIP
I actually finally completed the path of pain!! I think Silksong being so maddeningly hard made me better at it
Preparing for Silksong by trying to do the path of pain. Cannot believe I'm about halfway
Anyone coming to the upcoming Liminal Tales show at the Water Rats in kings x can pick up a new short story from me in the zine on sale. It's called "The Lost Finale of Johnny and Janey" it's about a bizarre final episode of an old 70s sitcom. www.ticketsource.co.uk/liminaltales
Emily got me this for my birthday and I just got to it. Sooooo good! Fun and breezy prose style with dark and harsh subject matter. Come Closer by Sara Gran. Love it love it love it
Checked Twitter for the first time in months - now on the tweets with media tab it's just contextless GIFs and pictures. You have to tap on it to see the tweet it's from.... I'm starting to wonder if Musk is even sentient at this point, let alone a "genius"
Just saw Stewart Lee's new show in St Albans. The fire alarm went off towards the end and we had Stewart Lee dressed as a werewolf with a prosthetic penis announcing he is our fire marshall ordering us to evacuate the venue....its been a strange evening.
Doctor who fan here - actually Daily Express, the reason I got angry watching Joy to the World was remembering how papers like your one had the fucking audacity to claim "it doesn't matter that our side broke the rules, move on, move on!"
Too many posts I see online are about how being in your 30s makes you old and you can't do exciting things anymore. Look I went to see Slipknot and went in a mosh pit! I'm not that old! (Almost everyone around me had grey hair or a bald head and the pit was much milder than I remember them being.)
Keep seeing trailers for this ITV show called 'Playing Nice' and I really don't get the source of the drama. "Do they keep the sons they have raised and loved?" ....um, yes, obviously, why is that a question?
Hey everyone My New Short film 'Got Your Nose' can now be seen online in the below collection at the London Lift-Off film festival. (if you watch, remember to vote for us please) checkout.liftoff.network/judges-londo... checkout.liftoff.network/judges-londo...
Apparently I've spent far too much time listening to Sleep Token this year
Twitter is still perfectly functional. It was also founded 01 Jan 1970
Am on holiday. I found an abandoned hotel. I wanted to go to the second floor but there weren't any stairs and I haven't unlocked the space jump ability yet.
