OH FUUUUUUUUUCK OOOOOOOOOFFFFF I AM NOT DOING THAT FOR ALL OF THEM LMFAOOO
📺 The Amazing Digital Circus (Episode 9) A finale so good I watched it again A sweeping score that swells as much as your inevitable tears complements an earnest, bittersweet, and tragically beautiful script to end this epic milestone for indie animation To the whole team: congrats, and thank you
📺 Among Us (Season 1) Mixing commentary on capitalism and corporate culture, absurd and occasionally surreal humor, and a good ol’ whodunit worth playing along to, this short series pays homage to the iconic game while creating an original story that is satirical, intriguing, and unexpectedly grim
📺 Dragon Striker (Season 1, Eps. 1-11) Saw this promoted on DTVA’s Instagram Breathtaking anime-inspired visuals; epic and shockingly intense action for a Disney show; lots of lore and worldbuilding; and lovable underdogs facing rather hateable yet complex antagonists Can’t wait for more episodes
📺 Pop Culture Jeopardy! (Netflix, Season 1) Not me earlier in the thread saying I don't watch Jeopardy lol My niche of cartoons, video games, and chronically online memes came through every so often, but the rest of my trivia knowledge was 50/50 Fun watch with a surprisingly unpredictable endgame
📺 Camp Camp (Seasons 1-5) Yep, watched it all in just over a week lol Hilarious and unhinged but with genuinely wholesome and/or gut-punching scenes, its outrageous early edge gets blunter over time but remains enjoyable and full of heart nonetheless Happy 10 years, Camp Campbell, and campe diem!
🌐 Nintendo Direct + Nintendo Treehouse: Live (June 2026) I’mma be real: I don’t play many games nowadays or even own a Switch 2; I just watch Directs for fun at this point with no expectations Besides Rhythm Heaven and Splatoon, which I’m legitimately interested in, the rest was fine at worst IMO
🎞️ The Amazing Digital Circus: The Last Act No finale spoilers; I'll share my theatergoing experience instead Outside of a disturbed kid, a few distracting phones, and some admittedly funny quips, the audience was quiet and very respectful; we literally shushed each other as soon as the movie began
🌐 Ticket to Ride, but IN REAL LIFE Haven’t watched a No Rolls Barred video in a long time or played Ticket to Ride ever, but this video still caught my eye I barely knew what was going on tbh, but this was still a very fun concept and an entertainingly chaotic look at the London Underground system
📺 Regular Show: The Lost Tapes (Season 1, Eps. 1-9) Never watched the OG show but got the general vibe from memes; after watching this... yep, it checks out lol With everyday scenarios that eventually turn creatively surreal, this frequently got me asking my favorite question: “WTF is happening?”
anyway, camp camp's 10th anniversary is literally next week so i'm gonna try my darndest to finish a drawing by then (the drawing in question being myself ofc cuz i can't draw ✨ anything else ✨)
📺 Survivor 50: In the Hands of the Fans Despite its at-times uneven editing and massive mixed bag of twists, this season still had lots of fun gameplay and great individual moments that fulfilled its mission of celebrating Survivor's long history Now we wait for what the “open era” has in store…
🎭 Malinche (Mexico City Production) Pros: talented ensemble, some good set design, and real-time captions Cons: uneven tone and pacing, pointless Act II “Megamix”, and my main gripe: despite its title, the main character of this story is a Spanish conquistador ...yeah, I didn't really like it tbh
📺 The Gaslight District (Pilot) With a tone and style that are unapologetically weird, dark, and dare I say a bit stomach-churning, this pilot is so unlike anything I'd typically watch Nevertheless, it still has heart at its core, as well as tons of lore and symbolism that are too smart for me lol
📺 Gameoverse (Pilot) This may be my inner gaming fan speaking but this might’ve been the most "easily accessible" Glitch pilot for me Interesting take on the "heroes and villains" concept and a good mix of story beats and comedic moments, the latter of which were aided by some great voice acting
