Woke up miraculously well enough to get down to Geneseo for The Greatest Show on Turf. Nice surprise, considering I was basically bedridden a week ago (and the husband is just 2 weeks past emergency surgery!)

Kittens are bathed and de-flea’d, all cozy in their downstairs bathroom quarantine with kitten food, water, litter, and a comfy covered cat bed and nightlight. They are incredibly sweet. I took turns holding each of them before bed and they both fell right asleep in my arms. 😭
Thrift find of the day (besides a $5 artist’s field easel that I was already looking for!) - this mystery teapot signed ‘Dinwiddie’ that exists nowhere on Google AT ALL
Found a new lunch spot today - a Thai/Burmese restaurant in Webster. Had a Burmese coconut chicken curry with squid ink noodles that was DELICIOUS. Service took a little while but I highly recommend!
Snap pea and asparagus orzo ‘risotto’ with Patagonian scallops. Finally felt up to making something special for a dinner on the deck. Spring!
Cancer was just the long game to get free chemo infusion room soup. Take that, American health care! I’m taking back my outrageous premiums one bowl at a time!
Ok, no more Florence concert posts after this, I swear…but someone managed to get a video of her taking my daughter’s hand while we stood at the stage barricade (green dress, floral headpiece, about 1/3 way in). Posting mainly as a record of one of the best moments ever. ❤️
Incredible. She spent a LOT of time even closer to us in the front corner, reaching out and making eye contact. Then during her barricade walk she took my daughter’s hand and smiled so warmly at her! My god.
