Today’s joy is waking up with thoughts of brother and sister colanders, jacket potatoes, a dragonfly fly-by, bat swoops and shooting stars.

In 2015 I caught the eclipsed sun in the palm of my left hand. Tonight I shall have my colander at the ready again...
Today’s joy is taking my walk backwards for a change and the road seeming to notice!

Today's joy is rereading and editing some poems that have returned to me from trying their luck in the world. It is also the anticipation of setting them out to sail again. (Hare riding out in a viking ship, with sunset picture background on Ludo board maybe sums this up!)

Today’s joy is a new writing space. My old faithful plywood bureau can rest easy knowing many poems were created there and good coaching happened in its well-loved lap. And now this beauty enters service and brings extra space for such things.
