Gay coyote-with-a-hint-of-collie in a redwood forest. Art, pictures, words, fiddle, equestrian, handler of a beloved and diverse pack. She/her, flexibly. 18+ Pedestrian wolf; animal eloquence, sometimes.
River and I run agility yesterday! Lol she did NOT want to wait on the pause table; she was too eager to get on the dogwalk bc it's been awhile. But then she went off the side before the contact, so we redid it. It's my fault she missed the last weave, but I think I moved through that jump combo ok
River needs one more Q in Rally Excellent before she moves up to Masters. The one movement it requires that she doesn't know is a spin beside the handler, in both directions. Turns out she learned the right-turning spin immediately but really does not like spinning left...
every time I see raw milk discussed (shudder) I immediately think ALL HAT, NO F-ING CATTLE; so few cattle that this person is proclaiming loudly that they have never worked cattle in any capacity or perhaps even met them. To know and love the noble cow is to want your milk pasteurized.
River's agility run today! Even though it was really warm. She missed a pole the first time through, but I didn't stop her bc her rhythm was on.
Trout got Mako's attention diverted from grasshoppers for a few seconds
So lovely! Amazing stop motion work here.
Here is the miniature sawmill; thankfully, the tree that houses it was spared. There is a miniature blacksmith shop, but its light was out so I couldn't get a video
I love Ferndale. It is coastal and very overcast and moist, full pnw temperate rainforest. Russ park here is right out of town, and it's so beautiful.
Mako got to chase the lure in fastCAT, a fitting reward to cap an absolutely fantastic weekend of showing! This lets him show a little of his running abilities; watching him come down a straightway like this is thrilling.
One great thing about this show is that it offers fast CAT runs, which are a wonderful way to reward Mako for all the effort. This is certainly his favorite part of the show!
Fiddling around with President Garfield's Blackberry Blossom last night. I really like this tune and want to get smoother. Lots of people play it faster but I like this speed. #fiddle
A cute little dragon in its pool. Pretty sure this is a juvenile CA giant salamander. With such pretty, fluffy gills! Possibly a child of the 2 big adults I saw in this pool system in spring
Little steelhead in the creek! I caught a strike! They are so so so cute
Borzoi Brothers Bite Ballet in: we're very fast! And now, the waltz!
Little hounds enjoying a frolic! Wait no actually, GIANT THUNDERING HOUNDS who can play near but not on top of me?
