Sunday Comes Afterwards
@sunday
Stevonnie (they/them). Singer/songwriter/ukulele player. Links to the music and stuff: My non-musician-related stuff is at @mxs510.bsky.social (Avatar/icon by @findchaos.bsky.social)
If I (a) were willing to attend music events where most people wouldn't be masked, and (b) weren't old and tired and unwilling to do anything that would involve getting home after midnight, then I would absolutely be attending this.
Time once again for that holiday classic! (Archival footage of the Kringler Rebbe is from the noted documentary "Neis by 34th Street.")
YouTube informs me that people have spent 2,000 hours watching my channel, which seems like a lot of hours. 😊
@smokesignal.events Salutations! Any idea why the badge-claiming thingy doesn't work for me? 😅
Timeline cleanse: I did a photoshoot with thetradephotography.myportfolio.com over the weekend, and I recommend the experience! 😊
ONE WEEK FROM TODAY A Covid-conscious concert from Positive Deviance, featuring a bunch of singer-songwriters, including... [checks notes] ...me! Thanks to the pandemic, this will be my first full set in front of actual people, rather than a webcam. 😅 www.abronsartscenter.org/programs/abr...
I need to submit an artist photo for something and am half-tempted to go with this.
Hey, the Desert Bus folks are doing a 24-hour fundraiser for the BC Cancer Foundation. You can tune in at www.twitch.tv/desertbus now!
I figured that either it would be everything I hoped for, or I'd turn out to be meh about it, but either way I could finally stop chasing it. 😅 It is so smol. Probably I should tune it a few steps up but it's honestly functional in C tuning?
Inside you are two wolves. One of them wants to be perceived as a pretty princess. The other chooses the image for your upcoming livestreams. Anyway, that's a week from today. Join me on YouTube, willya?
TikTok informs me that I posted this a year ago today! (tbh, I'm reposting it here mostly because I like my outfit. 😅)
I make noises with my mouth while hitting pieces of fishing line.
Jay Edidin's T-shirts are on sale, and the "trans existence is resistance" shirt I wore on a livestream a couple of years ago is due to be redesigned soon, but the original design is still available!
A short original nigun. Loop till you get tired of it, that's how they work. #Jewsky
This is more profane than most of my work, but it's certainly heartfelt.
People who attended my livestream a little over a week ago: this is the book I was talking about! It's out today! You can buy it! 🎉
Oh, right, my next livestream is this Sunday. Time flies! youtube.com/watch?v=R706...
Oh, right. I should tell everybody that I have a livestream this coming Sunday, at 3 PM Eastern time, in which I will be singing songs while accompanying myself on the ukulele. If only I could think of how to communicate that. Eh, most of my audience is subscribed to me on YouTube, it'll be fine. 😅
So I suddenly realized that my next livestream is in fact this coming Sunday, not the one after that. 😅
I am thrilled to announce that my livestream this coming Sunday will feature a guest performance by singer-songwriter @daphnesak.bsky.social!
My next livestream is in a week, and it's going to be the 50th monthly installment! Will there be any special features for the occasion? That sure seems like something I ought to have, huh. Stay tuned!
Oh, huh, we're already in the home stretch of February. Which means that my next livestream is this coming Sunday! If you have any requests, you'd better get them in now, or else...umm, you'll have to make them during the stream itself. I guess that's not much of a threat, huh.
This is an exorcism. I finished this She-Ra–based parody of "Purple Rain" in 2022 and will never use it, but it keeps haunting me when I go to look at my folder of song ideas and drafts. So, here. If you have any use for this, take it. (CC 4.0 BY license, which is to say, just give me credit.)
