It was a little sloppy at parts (probably due to Noa's 2.5 years away), but it was a fun little match that eased her back into the biz while allowing her the chance to do some of the hardcore stuff she didn't often get a chance to do in TJPW. Happy to see her back in the ring.
Blood, violence and a great underdog babyface performance. This is on the short list of TV matches of the year (and matches of the year in general).
Definitely worth going out of your way to see this one. The grappling between Hashimoto and Yamaoka alone is fantastic and there's a real sense of struggle throughout. Big Hash gave these girls some real shine here.
Anzai vs Shiozaki was a fitting main event for the first night of the Champion Carnival: some cool limb work, real hard-hitting action and a sick closing stretch. It was totally worth going out of your way to see, imo.
So here's the card, I found it digging around Twitter. The only changes are that Takase got moved into Unagi's spot due to injury so that three-way is now just a singles match
I really tried to come up with games I've spent a ton of hours in across almost 40 years of playing games. Goldeneye or Mario Kart 64 probably could have made it in here as well.
Just an amazing spectacle, especially considering Saya got legit hurt early in the match. They beat the ever-loving shit out of each other and had an insane closing stretch. Give me a rematch at ASGQ.
One step closer to Hana's legacy, as Rina finally hit the Tiger Lily but could not land the kudo driver/vertebreaker. This match ruled, only further showcasing why Rina is likely to be the future of the promotion and that Konami can have bangers when called upon.
Styles make fights, and this was high-level hoss warfare. It's rare to see someone match power with Hashimoto, which made this a much different match than we'd normally see from her, and she and Iida made the most of weaving that struggle into their normal big spots; class stuff.

It's Wrapped time of the year again and frankly I expected as much (except Huey Lewis, not sure how he snuck in there).
