Another broken promise from Republicans. We lost jobs last month and prices are still rising.
Out of touch or just plain lying to the public. No matter how much they try to avoid it, the fact is that hardworking families are struggling with higher costs and it’s because of GOP policies. Nice try, Mr. Secretary.
Honored to be nominated by the voters of the 1st District to move onto the general!

It’s always great to spend time with young and engaged folks like our Democracy Summer fellows. It’s inspiring to hear their ideas, questions, and just be around their energy. Special thanks to this group for putting on our campaign picnic yesterday!
This is decidedly NOT the “golden age” Republicans promised. They’re failed policies are making everything too expensive and it’s time for a change.
As more Americans struggle to afford groceries, Republicans are focused on funding the war in Iran and Trump dismisses it all as a “hoax”. When Democrats take back the gavels, we’ll fight everyday to lower costs for the hardworking families being left behind by the GOP.
More tariffs, more higher costs for everyday Americans. And more silence from House Republicans incapable of standing up to Trump.
The American People: Prices are too high, please do something about it. Trump Admin: Here are more price-hiking tariffs.
Science matters. Having qualified science professionals fully staffed in roles to protect the public/food safety matters. We’re now experiencing all-too-real impacts of the harm caused by Republicans’ reckless cuts to the CDC.
Trump knows vote-by-mail is secure because that’s how he votes. Republican attacks on VBM are nothing more than shameful attempts to rig the midterms. It won’t work - and in November, the American people will cast their ballots and reject Republicans across the country.
Now we know what he meant when he said “I don’t think about Americans’ financial situation.” His unwillingness to lift even a finger to help lower the cost of housing shows where his and Republicans’ priorities are. And it’s not with the American people.
Another real life consequence of House Republicans' broken promises. Health care costs go up, and so do the number of people who will lose coverage.
While House Republicans rip health care away from folks, cheerlead price-hiking tariffs, and let Trump’s rampant corruption go unchecked - Americans keep on paying the price. Today’s jobs report highlights the growing affordability crisis Republicans are causing.
Remember what he says and what he does. Trump meant it when he said: "I don't think about Americans' financial situation.” His sabotage of today’s bipartisan housing bill proves it.
Numbers don’t lie, even if Republicans did when they passed this awful bill. Americans are suffering from the Republican health care crisis, losing lifesaving care, and repealing their cuts is one of the reasons we need to stop them in November.
A depressing and (unfortunately) all too real exercise far too many hardworking families are going through today. It’s also a reminder of Republican failures and their broken promises to the American people.
Republican math: instead of lowering health care costs for Americans, just make them incur more medical debt. Unbelievably tone-deaf.
This is not good news for hardworking families already struggling to make ends meet - and today’s data makes clear that Republican policies are the key factor driving the pain everyday Americans are feeling.
Their cruelty continues. After voting to cut nearly $1 trillion dollars from Medicaid, Republicans are now trying to rip health care away from Americans fighting cancer. Both now and when House Democrats take back the majority, we’ll do everything we can to stop them.
SCOTUS’s shameful, but not surprising decision disenfranchises millions of Black voters in Alabama and across the country. Democrats will continue to fight back. Come November, the voice of the people will be heard.
Every day this war of choice continues, it costs hardworking families more and more - and Republicans have no plan to end it or lower prices. The American people deserve better, and Democrats will lower costs when we take back the House in November.
Americans simply cannot afford the disastrous Republican agenda. It’s time for change, and it’s coming in November when House Democrats take back the majority.
It doesn’t have to be like this. If Republicans just took the time to listen to the American people, they would know that more needs to be done to lower costs, not more endless wars and billion dollar ballrooms.
Maureen Galindo’s disgusting comments are disqualifying and extremely dangerous. Texas voters will not be fooled and will reject this vile extremism at the ballot box.
Another broken promise. Instead of ‘draining the swamp,’ Trump and Republicans are creating a slush fund using taxpayer dollars to enrich loyalists and cronies - but they can’t find a dime to help you afford health care or put food on the table for your family. Shameful.
This is not good. When wholesale prices (ie costs on our entrepreneurs and manufacturers) go up, it’s an early indicator of consumer prices. Americans literally can no longer afford the reckless policies of Trump & Republicans.
