I bumped into my tattooer outside the hospital. Had a quick chat and hug, then got slobbery kisses from the pugs #goodthings

Thor is old, arthritic and has dementia so I didn’t move him for a pic. Just gave him fusses. Thor is a fawn pug, he is sat on someone’s knee in the car facing the driver. He is a chonk.

Chunk and baby Murray gave me slobbery kisses. Chunk is an older pug, he is at the rear and is black with grey hairs over his face. Baby Murray is in front he is dark brindle and is being held back by my friend Penny because he’s about to lunge at me and snog me again. His mouth is wide open with his tongue lolling out to the side.

Just finished this by @davidmbarnett.bsky.social and I was fantastic! I’ve never been to Cornwall, so in my mind it was happening in Staithes instead! Absolutely hooked straight away - loved it!

If I hadn’t had access to this bad boy when I was a kid, I wouldn’t be the voracious reader I am as an adult. I hate literary snobs for adults and it drives me mad that they do it for kids.

Treated the parents to a posh Sunday dinner takeaway from Healing Manor. I used to do it for them every Sunday during lockdown.

I absolutely devoured this book by @davidmbarnett.bsky.social. A wonderfully creepy folk horror that in one particular part, had me put it down and think holy shit! Then I had to pick it straight up again and carry on because I needed to know! Bought the other two, now.

Went to see the Helios installation by @lukejerram.bsky.social at Grimsby Minster. Stunningly beautiful and I found much needed peace there. The Culture House brings great things to our town.
