Dear #SwordandSorcery Authors: I want to see more femalecharacters who actually know how to fight. Make them realistic. Make them bad ass. I want the feminine equivalent of "Die Hard" and "Conan the Barbarian". Like a female version of Rocky Balboa, who isn't afraid to take hits & dish it out.

Pretty sure that the latter is what hatpins are for.

Yes, of course. Very true. Everyone does that, not just on social media. But if you're going to start an electric car company and make it successful, why wouldn't you make the cars look like an E Type Jaguar??? Because that is objectively very pretty to look at.

#BOOKREVIEW "Here be dragon clichés..." by Richard Sexsmith is an odd bit of fun. Harold and Malcolm are charlatans pretending to be dragonslayers, which is a fun premise, but it is the writing and humour, which embraces literary tropes and clichés, that raises this story to a fine art. ☆☆☆☆☆

I recently came up with an idea regarding Sword and Sorcery books. We should add the following to book covers for old school #swordandsorcery books. Too many people out there are writing epic fantasy/etc and mislabeling the stories as S&S. #oldschoolswordandsorcery

So I see that #CharlesMoffat has a new Wulfric the Wanderer story available. I am going to have to buy it the next time I order things from Amazon. The Wulfric stories are so very satisfying, especially if you like #oldschoolswordandsorcery books that have strong Conan/REH vibes. #swordandsorcery
