Oooh I like this song very much. Saving it to the playlist - and yes, the video shows it in utter glory!
Calling all mystery jukeboxers. I will be your host tomorrow. Please make sure you have your seatbelts fastened, tray tables safely stowed, and your tokens ready to spend.
Meanwhile it has come to my attention that the ex is still obsessing. And keeps creating new social profiles - blocking them all is like whack-a-mole. People say "ah but he's miles away". And then you see updates like this and think, yeah, there's a reason I'm still fucking afraid.
Last night I went to see David Sedaris. I laughed heartily. And he signed my book and said he liked my outfit. 🖤
Thanks to The Cinefiles @therochasays.bsky.social and @srmorris.bsky.social I'm rewatching Interstellar with a whole new appreciation for the dust bowl and the soundtrack. These two talk about film in a way that no other movie podcast does. ♥️ youtu.be/7R9zzbcbbmc?...
Went to pick up the cat this morning. Spotted a trio of rooks just hanging out, hoping for bacon buttie leftovers.
Stop calling body parts after things that make us hate our naturally aging bodies. I'm not a fucking turkey. "Bingo wings" "Muffin tops" "Apron belly". Fuck you with the 💸💸💸 cure. If you want to pedal creams, lotions, exercises, fine. But stop giving cruel names to normal body parts you fuckers.
I took this when I went to see them - you can see them from the motorway and it's really striking
It goes back to Danse Macabre/ dance of death iterations - Micah Ulrich has some lovely designs. I'm getting its dancing partner on my other arm at some point.
Maybe if it wasn't so busy segregating and demonising trans people - while that ghoul Wes Stressing writes articles. Protecting women and girls, my arse.
Made it to Amsterdam, and on the last leg home now (in every sense of the word)
Someone got a bit over-excited playing with her ball today and took a tumble. She's on pain meds for arthritis already, but hopefully this will help a little too. The sooner we can move to the seaside, the better.
I am looking at my wall for inspiration today. Thanks Frank for your beautiful art.
Much brisk! Glad I took a towel for the dugs - they were quite waterlogged. Wind coming off the sea is nippy noodles.
