Election day, including an important WI Supreme Court race. And as polls opened WE Energies outages started. Clear skies, no weather issues. Outage map from WE Energies app.
You are welcome to as much of our snow as you wish. Lil Schnooky does not appreciate it. I had to dig out a section so he will go out in the back between walks.
My Milwaukee area back yard had 10". My rescue doggo lept out the back door in the morning, down a step, turned around and lept right back in the house. I had to shovel a patch out back for his quick lil potty runs between walks. Such heavy snow!
We have spent the day doing laundry and staying inside. 6 to 10 inches of snow expected, and winds to pick up and cause blowi g and drifting. The street that runs along my side lot line cannot be differentiated from the yards right now. No snow plowing has been done yet.
We had those metal skates that clamped onto our hard leather shoes. And the skate key we wore on a string around our neck so we could take the skate off our shoe eventually.
Look who showed up in the Pollinator Patch that I planted last spring? The swamp milkweed and joe pye weed are doing great and just started to bloom this past week.
I need that dog to teach my 5 yr old rescue dog to play fetch. The little guy is just uninterested when I try to engage him in fetch or tug or frisbee
This is mine. Itzy was a rescue, about 5 years old when we adopted him. He went over the bridge last summer.

I am with you on the get a dog idea - but I recommend people consider adult shelter dogs. Their worlds were shattered when their families abandoned them. And shelters spay and neuter to prevent unwanted puppies. This is the 4 yr old, picked up as a stray, that we adopted in October from a shelter
Our little rescue doggo Schnooky has now been with us about 10 weeks. He'a mere 11 lbs, but thinks he's a way bigger dog. We are still growing out his wonky shelter cut, he was so matted when he was picked up on the streets by MADACC, they needed to shave him. Nobody claimed him so we adopted him
They are adorable. We adopted 4 yr old Schnooky from MADACC in Milwaukee about 8 weeks ago. A yorkiepoo. He is doing great, except for his reactivity and incomplete potty training, which we are working on. Here he is with his wonky kennel cut. He was badly matted and not happy about being trimmed
