I'm so sorry. I looked up the Southern Great Glider so maybe I could understand a little of your sadness. I read that they are the size of a cat and one of the largest gliding marsupials. I never heard of them before. Photo from The Guardian, 3 years ago, about them being endangered.

What a face! I immediately started smiling. I have 3 grandcats and I love them. But I've been a dog person for a long time and would love to have also have granddog (and a grandchild would also be nice). Photos of my 3 grandcats (who own 2 different kids)
