Because Packard wasn’t involved in Chooseco’s 2003 revival, his interactive book couldn’t carry the CYOA branding. The original title, Journey to the Year 3000, was off‑limits, so it became Journey 3000, one of just two Super Adventure releases. The subseries was hard; 1 good ending per book.
