Doch die reibungslose Umsetzung stellte sich schnell als Illusion heraus. Denn das Sprind-Team, so berichten es ganz unterschiedliche Akteure, zeigte schnell eigene Interessen. Solche, die sich mindestens teilweise mit Geschäftsinteressen decken, die Mitglieder der „Open Wallet  Foundation“ (OWF) verfolgen.

Die OWF unter dem Dach der Linux Foundation Europe wird von großen und kleinen Unternehmen finanziert, die Geschäftsmodelle für digitale Identitäten entwickeln oder von diesen profitieren – von der Telekom bis Google. In der Branche gilt die OWF als eines der üblichen Lobby-Vehikel.

Der Projektleiter, den die Sprind auswählte, scheiterte zuvor mit einem Unternehmen, das digitale Identitäten entwickeln sollte. Parallel zur Tätigkeit für die Sprind arbeitete er mit einer eigenen Beratungsfirma weiter für die OWF.

In der Sprind-Jury, die für wichtige Weichenstellungen konsultiert werden sollte, saß Brian Behlendorf – der CTO der Open Wallet Foundation.

Jetzt hab ich auch selber eine Kopie. Mein Beitrag über die korrodierende Wirkung stochastischer Text-Extruder auf demokratische und auch Verwaltungs-Prozesse ist zwar jetzt schon ein paar Monate alt, aber ich kann immer noch voll dahinter stehen.

I accept that I am granting more power to the United States.
I accept that all this effort could have been spent elsewhere.

Sorry, aber das klingt als ginge es eher um dich, "optimistischer Fan". Mein Blutdruck ist eigentlich ganz gut, tendenziell eher zu niedrig. Aber wenn dir "Analysen" irgenwie bei "Freiheit" im Weg stehen, stimmt vielleicht was anderes nicht?
