Born & raised somewhere in South Vancouver. On air at CBC Vancouver.
I’m probably just tired but this vpd image of a man who allegedly assaulted someone in south vancouver is killing me.
This is just so Vancouver. Park Board Commissioner doing a press conference in a speedo.
Brian Hart says he tried to tear off the bridge's beam with his truck's crane attachment when the horse managed to finally free itself. “It couldn't even hold his head up. It just stood there for like ten minutes looking at me,” he said. “Finally it caught its breath, and just walked away.”
LOOK at this horse that got its head stuck in a bridge near Lytton. A local truck driver just happened to be by & spotted it. "I looked over the edge [of the bridge] and that thing looked up at me, tongue hanging out, just exhausted. “And it just gave me a look of, get me the hell out of here!”
Unbelievable. A really tough day for so many of my colleagues and friends at NEWS 1130. Long live radio.
7 members of Burnaby Search & Rescue are home after aiding in search efforts following twin earthquakes in Venezuela. The team, which included 2 dogs, searched around 30 sites. The dogs made more than 35 indications, 3were live finds. One included a young boy pulled alive from the rubble. Heroes!
Watched Supergirl tonight, I liked it! Enjoyed the fighting sequence to a cover of The Middle 💥
Very happy with my raspberries this summer. They didn’t flower or grow last year.
Did I understand Backrooms? No. But I watched it at Cineplex VIP in a squashy chair and had nachos and a fancy mocktail so it was worth it and I’m happy.
My imaging of our galactic neighbour. From a backyard somewhere in South Vancouver. 🌌
Blasting off from Earth, spending 6 days getting to the moon, historic lunar flyby, going further than any human before, falling back to earth at 40,000 km/h, being busted out of the Integrity vessel, hoisted by helicopter…all the blood, sweat, tears and hard work to get here. Humanity at its best.
Loud cheers from the teams at NASA as all four astronauts finally are able to step out of Integrity. They then get hoisted by helicopter and taken to land. What a day!
amaze amaze amaze 🚀 All four astronauts are safely out of the Integrity vessel!
Voice communication has been reestablished! Looking good so far.
