To remind those I'm England of what a lot of wet stuff coming out the sky at the same time looks like
Off to St Andrews for the day but before that may I introduce you to the cat on the staff at the former nuclear bunker near Anstruther? The current cat flaps, inc. the quarters for the minister who'd have had responsibility for Scotland, replace cold war era ones.
Rather loved the abundance of saltires in Stirling. A barber/hairdresser has even closed up with a sign 'part of the Tartan Army in Boston'.
Taken at the impromptu gathering in Edinburgh the day after Jo Cox MP was murdered. Apols for poor quality of pic
The Lakes are claiming that their have their own Nessie. Next thing they will be claiming our Nessie comes here on her hols
My mission this spring was to find and photograph some holly flowers. Everyone knows what the berries look like and stands to reason there have to be flowers. As my mobility is a wee bitty limited at the mo, my husband has been looking out for me. Next yr it's oak flowers.
Very satisfying treatment for the Reform UK leaflet - straight into the paper recycling cos we know the world is experiencing a climate crisis unlike them
Thank you - we need more pictures of cats on bluesky. Here's Freya being a parrot
Not quite Swedish cinnamon knots are made of a enriched spiced knot. I make them at Christmas. Bit fiddly
So glad to see the crocuses have started to bloom up here. It's been soggy here but so many other places have had it worse
Freya our 15 yr old cat and ex stray decided she liked humans 5 yrs ago now gives affectionate head bumps #ValentinesDay #caturday
Monster Yorkshire, roast tatties, parsnips and the rest of the roast beef from Xmas for tea.
This is one of the books I've just got out of our local library. It's set in Georgia - was published in 2024
Freya is quite pleased with the fact that my blue sky account that has her face would fail USA visa checks as it's pretty obvious I find Trump's policies abhorrent
ASDA has to be up there for weird Christmas tree decorations - ours are a tad more traditional
There is sometimes very odd about the fact that early afternoon today, this was the weather in our part of Falkirk. It's November for God's sake not April
We have stuff bordering footpaths near us that smells like wild garlic but isn't an allium - flowers are wrong. Just wish I knew what it is
