Bonafide Homosexual 🏳️🌈 I REPORT AND BLOCK PORNBOTS AND CRYPTOTROLLS
A year later, this @theatlantic.com article still surfaces on social media because it’s such successful clickbait. In my free time before smartphones, I was reading Atlantic articles written by writers who actually read, not sifting through Ian Bogost’s garbage looking for a writer with dignity.
The story behind this photo is one of hope. Hazel Massery apologized to Elizabeth Eckford in the early ‘60s, became an activist, and they were briefly friends. Differences drove them apart because redemption and forgiveness are messy, but they both proved hate doesn’t have to be a lifelong illness.
The “liberal media” chose to phrase this as “Trump’s $5 million,” as if his rape victim’s final victory over her rapist was some kind of grift. Every journalist left at @msnowreports.bsky.social has lost every last shred of credibility by mere association.
If you’re a remote worker getting in your 40 hours, who cares where you are? Workers aren’t penalized for living in Aspen or Miami. Vice seems to be joining the corporate camp that assumes PTO and work are not mutually exclusive.
If it’s so timeless and classic why’s every item rendered in AI? A $670 chair’s worth a camera and tripod. #callsigndesign
This is f*cking annoying. More AI no one asked for making technology worse.
Reminder, these are the people who look at a photo of Zohran Mamdani and still think they are the superior race.
It’s the Freedom Tower in NYC, built in 2014. It essentially replaced the WTC. It’s 1776 feet tall if you count the spire.
It’s also WAY out of scale. The roof of the WTC is 1369ft (1776ft at top of spire), the Sears roof is 1450ft (higher than the WTC’s roof), and Empire State’s total height is 1250 ft (which is now 10th in U.S. behind Trump’s own Chicago tower). Accurate diagram here from SkyscraperPage.
This, every time. I’ve worked in tech for 30 years, so I know the phrase, “don’t fix it if it doesn’t make money.” That’s why Aetna makes it as hard as possible to actually use your coverage.
Lowe’s is selling dead houseplants for $8. What a steal. Here’s the thing. Big Box garden centers offer all plants at an inflated FU price. If consumers buy, fine. But it doesn’t matter. Every dead plant gets written off as a tax deduction to sustain them from the last pumpkin to the first daffodil.
Where's Joan Rivers? Lisa looks like Gozer in the musical version of Ghostbusters.
Judging by the Real Doll on his arm, I’m guessing he’s thinking about all of Trump’s Mar-a-Lago faced gremlins and not, well, this actual Blue Hair.
Russia’s PT Cruiser Wedding Hearse says everything you need to know about Trump’s taste.
Mx. Smith looks like she’s about to quote Auntie Mame hosting a drag brunch at the Paramus Chili’s.
As AI threatens to outsource things we actually enjoy - like engaging with our pets - we need to start familiarizing ourselves with the phrase “convenience trap.”
I can’t think of a better campaign for unions than 500 billboards in an unaffordable city blatantly telling companies to replace employees with AI.
It’s not a “pivot,” it’s straight up stock manipulation. I’m sure the Allbirds bros are loving the windfall of cash, but if Coke decided to abandon its core product to “pivot” to VHS tapes, you can bet the SEC would be all over their ass.
I’m trying to imagine an environment where the trans community wouldn’t be in an uproar if this said “The future of healthcare is Gay-led.”
It’s not an exaggeration to say every one of these guys is a textbook sociopath.
Let me get this straight, @nytimes.com needed a 3D analysis to show that Trump's ballroom would make the White House asymmetrical?
To think, if we would have just let King George have his taxes we’d probably be one big Canada.
Waste a gallon of water and siphon off electricity from the village next to this data center so you can create a sh*tty disposable camera photo you’ll look at once and immediate lose in the maw of your iPhoto hole.
