The book, for the record, is The Keeper of Lonely Spirits by @elizmanderson.com and despite making me cry for 60 solid pages and upsetting my cat, I read it like it could fix something inside of me and now I've read all of it and am sad I can't live in this book for the first time again

can confirm, the parks in Utah are unreal. Arches is one of the most beautiful places I've ever been. the clouds out here are unreal

I have been a menace ever since I learned you can put ink wash into water brushes. especially now that it's summer and I can chuck the sketchbook into the dash to dry in the sun hella quickly

it is very late and I am bad at words rn, but this! I mocked out the size my paper is and found the center, lined up the block on it, and used the mock up lines to align my paper before I let it touch the block
