I’m an artist working within public spaces of exhibition and publication, thinking about who gets to make art and how, where and why 👀 Reader in Contemporary Art + Co-lead of MFA Arts & Humanities at Royal College of Art 🤡 UCU rep.✊ 🪱
I’ve been working with Eastside Community Heritage in Newham London and colleagues at RCA to help develop this public art commission. Funded by ACE this commission is an opportunity for artists to work with ECH’s extensive archive collections. eastsidecommunityheritage.org/coming-soon/

First thought wrong thought. No carrots for sale in Sloane Square yet.
New Year’s Eve plans called off due to cat on lap. Wishing everyone a tabby 2025.
That made me think of the illustrations in this book - by Leo Leoni.
One of the benefits of being poorly - a chance to read this book by Amy Ching-Yan Lam. A disarmingly gentle accumulation of observation and experience that amounts to a more complex exposition of use and ownership of property and land and its relationship to family, home and art-making.
Shame they didn’t make it to London. They missed the opportunity to visit Abbey Road DLR station.
