What the country — and certainly the business world — yearns to hear is ‘Labour seeking to rejoin EU.’

Reform has for too long been allowed to evade scrutiny by using a supine media to propagate its views on its terms. Please no more ‘addresses to the nation’ from Farage filmed by Reform with no questions and no more texting of journalists on air to instruct them what to say.
Why do HMRC have to be pushed to take action after passively watching this story unfold for weeks? What is it about this man that he is considered by some in authority to be above the rules that govern everyone else?

My sense is we’re heading back to Tory/Labour politics. I recall the excitable talk about the SDP ‘breaking the mould’ in the eighties - 30 MPs at its height, more than three times as many as Reform has now, some real intellects and no scandal - and still it all came to nothing.
Democracy must not be allowed to die under this liar, bully and cheat.
Who was it who was saying there’s no money to be made out of politics if you’re straight?
Imagine the fun Maxwell could have had in Johnson’s government as it managed to ‘waste’ £10 billion. He only managed to ‘waste’ a fraction of that. Legal implications for the company he left behind immense. None of his henchmen ended up unapologetically sitting in the Lords.
👎 Murdoch like Musk has decided it’s over for Farage. It’s not inconceivable he’ll end up behind bars which would of course preclude any further globetrotting.
I’m going to campaign for this fella. He’d brighten up the Commons. No scandal has ever stuck to him — non-stick metal, I assume — and it’s inconceivable he could be less present and available in Clacton than his opponent.
Farage either ignored on the front pages — the press was always going to major on the Harry verdict — or mocked, even by once traditional supporters.
Not for the first time, this will leave Farage playing with himself.
