This shit is absolute peak. My god.

I next read a crossover event titled LIGHTNING STRIKES TWICE taking place across Action Comics #826, Adventures of Superman #639 and Superman #216. This was fun. I can see why it was included in the reading order, but mostly felt like a side quest. Glad I read it tho!

COUNTDOWN TO INFINITE CRISIS This was a really fascinating book. Wasn’t 100% sure exactly what was going on yet, but knew something bad was incoming. Also, Blue Beetle. I never knew they could make me love you so. 🥹

GREEN LANTERN: REBIRTH Ok, this was the first truly incredible book I read within this whole list. Or at least the one that resonated the most with me. The most fascinating thing about this has been seeing Batman outside of his own books - he’s an ASSHOLE and everyone kinda hates him. 😂😂

IDENTITY CRISIS This was…interesting. I liked the art for the most part, but it had some strange story decisions. Obviously incredibly important for setting up the following events and crises. Glad I read it but I won’t be re-reading it or collecting it lol

CRISIS ON INFINITE EARTHS I respect this book more than I enjoyed it. I love and appreciate what it did, but I don’t think it was really for me. I knew NONE of these characters or the context hahaha but I’m glad I read it because it clearly set the stage for everything to come afterwards.

So..since I’ve been in the midst of a Batman hyperfixation, I decided to try out the old MMO DC Universe Online. It’s free so I figured “why not?” Lol I’m loving it. I made a beautiful short beefy himbo daddy.

This show was terrific. I loved how it felt like the original Animated Series, yet far more “adult”.

Felt cute. Shan’t delete later. 😌
