Please note: you do not need to add Soulmask: Shifting Sands to your cart separately. You only need to purchase the base game Soulmask, and the DLC will be granted automatically.

Q: I already purchased Soulmask before. How do I get the DLC for free?

As mentioned above, you can try the following steps:

Open the Steam client and go to the Soulmask page in your Library.

Check the DLC section to see whether the icon for Soulmask: Shifting Sands is displayed.

If it is there, the DLC has already been activated successfully, and you can enter the game and start playing right away.

“Studio Sirens remains fully committed to ARK: Aquatica and to delivering the experience our passionate community have hoped for. Our team is dedicated to ensuring the content is stable and enjoyable for fans of the franchise.
We appreciate the support and patience from ARK: Survival Evolved players and ARK: Aquatica players throughout this process. Your direct feedback had been guiding Studio Sirens’ efforts and improvements to the game.
Looking forward, we will continue rolling out planned fixes and optimizations to refine ARK: Aquatica in the months ahead - including our upcoming Dev Kit. Hosted servers and player support will remain active for the rest of 2025 as stated previously.
