SO back to work on this bird and in the process ended up changing what I wanted to make it with, so I have a bunch of materials that need to be another bird, so, IF ANYONE WANTS A DISCOUNT BIRD HIT ME UP! it would mostly use feather fur, namely the brown, as I now have 4 useless yards of it >:p

examples of past use of brightly colored printed fabrics (and yes, all of them sabers, "fantasy sabers" are kind of my go-to because there are no rules on where extra long fluff can be or exact head shape etc)

removable horns AND removable crest feathers, yes is possible (helps if you don't care about the method looking or being fancy just that it works lol) now the client can transport the head easier. And yay finally found a chance to use these fake feathers (they are made the same way as fake leaves!)

Up next on the work table - a raptor with removable horns so it can be made a dragon for ren fairs. Client is particular about the horns being durable and also not having any risk of falling off if they get too rambunctious, so STRESS TEST VIDEO

for example: the face of this baby mammoth was made on a plastic colander so it could be firm, light, and hollow. And its trunk was articulated with a plastic chain. We makers use a lot of 3D printed stuff now (myself included) but nothing is wrong with oddly repurposing something if it works 👍

Both of the "food foxes" are done, but then I decided to track down and buy some thematic clothing to go with them, so I am holding off on the sale and debut until that gets here :P

and here are the integrated sandals, the scuba material isn't gonna hold up if it scrapes along concrete so these will protect the toes, and the ankle straps are attached to the bottoms of the legs and strap into the feet, this way I could hide the ankle seam and be sure no gap shows with movement
