Shade cloth / soft garden netting had been stretched over a metal post framework to provide a vertical sunscreen for the outdoor cats in the heat of the summer. The shade cloth was fixed on horizontal metal rods approx 1.5m from the ground and where the cloth was wound round the pole and fixed in place using cable ties had become Linnet's favourite napping place. She could just fit into the curve at the bottom where the cloth met the rods, and had made it into a lovely well-ventilated hammock.
