i have the opposite of a green thumb so this is very exciting to me. i got this orchid at the end of last august and it lost its flowers pretty quickly followed by one of the two stems but i held out hope and now i have 2 flowers (and a small bud for potentially a 3rd). #bloomscrolling

if anyone wants to help me buy a generator, that would be pretty cool. i have refrigerated medicine for my ms and each dose is $30k (before insurance) so it would be extremely bad to lose. i was lucky with this storm that timing worked out and i was able to take it last night instead of wasting it.

i need ice water without opening my freezer since rumors are i won't have power for a few days so i stopped at mcdonald's. the self serve kiosks are closed, the lines inside and out are long, and the drink station is closed. i had to pay $1 to fill my water bottle in addition to buying something else. fucks mcdonald's and this greedy-ass bullshit!
