Prompted by my fav wellbeing app to do a 5 min sketch of the view from my window, so did this little sticky note drawing with markers.
My Kumquat tree is producing new fruit already. 4 tiny baby kumquats have appeared overnight 🥹
Bought myself a kumquat tree as a results day treat. Introducing Kevin the Kumquat, long may he thrive.
Ohhhh don’t fuck with me, Morrisons. You’re dead to me. What the fuck is this? Get out! GET OUT!
June to July (so far) in my junk journal. I know it’s wonky, that’s part of the whole point :)
This installation at Southgate in Bath is strangely calming #Bath #Photography #Nature #Green
One of my favourite things about Avebury is the sheep. #StandingStoneSunday
Blimey, the phrase ‘Gatwick crash’ was a bit alarming without any context.
Iced chocolate, hazelnut milk, sea salt, and orange. This is the meaning of life. This is my new philosophy.
Vigil by George Saunders is my latest book purchase and rather than assign it to my TBR pile I dived straight in and it is DELIGHTFUL and spooky.
I got to the office and replaced it with a far more sensible plaster from my desk 💖
Sliced my knuckle open and all I have on me are these heart shaped plasters which just happen to go with my dress. Nice.

Being fat and having heat intolerance means I have MY OWN AIRCON HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
We went from no wind and humid, still air to this in a minute. I got the cat in just before it hit because the sky got weird.
My afternoon in the garden with Massimo Pigliucci’s ‘How to Be a (Happy) Skeptic’. A captivating read for sure! #Books #amreading
Reading in the garden with the cat. I gave him a dry leaf (he likes to be shown things) and he’s fallen asleep with it.
Something has… er… mummified this moth against our gatepost. Maybe as a warning? Very hardcore.
My dad tore up the foundations a shed used to sit on and turned it into a little plant patch. Casper thinks it’s very kind that we made him a garden. He takes his role as head gardener very seriously.
Here is the same plant today (next to the original photo again).
I rescued a cat mint plant that’s been in our garden for a long, long time. Weeds had taken over and it was looking very sorry for itself. Here is a before and after rescue comparison on the day I got stuck on back in May.
