Well. This is weird. When I go into Settings —> AirPods Pro —> Battery on my iPhone running iOS 26.1, this is what I see. It is referring to AirPods as “development device.” Is this just me?
iOS 18.3.1 is out. Let me see what this fixes. My thought is that that it is a security fix based on the release notes.
Apple Intelligence highlighting a phishing email. #Fail Fun fact: I run my own mail server which is why I know this is a phishing email.... Other than the low effort phishing attempt.
Apple has released iOS 18.2.1 today. There's no security fixes that Apple admits to. But you should likely download it anyway.
iOS 18.1.1 is out with "important security fixes". While I look to see what those fixes are, you might want to go download and install this.
It seems that Apple updated iMovie yesterday. As usual, they failed to say what they fixed.
The time has now come to update my Macs to macOS 15.1 as I never update to the .0 release. This should be fun. You'll also note that there's an update for macOS 14 if you aren't ready to jump to macOS 15 yet.
I'm now working on updating my Apple Watch to watchOS 11.1 and the release notes have only one real detail of note. But only for those who have an Apple Watch that can do breathing disturbance detection.
Next up is iOS 18.1... I will hunt down the security update info in a few minutes.
In a very uncharacteristic move by Apple, software updates are available RIGHT NOW. I am starting with HomePod software 18.1 and working my way from there.
This was pretty late in the day, but Apple has dropped both iOS 18.0.1 and watchOS 11.0.1 to fix a bunch of nasty bugs that users have been experiencing since both were released two weeks ago.
And it continues with HomePod software 18. More to come in a few moments.
It's that time of the year which is Apple new OS season. The fun starts with iOS 18. But if you're not ready for iOS 18, Apple has also released iOS 17.7.
watchOS 10.6.1 is out with a bug fix for Apple Fitness +. Also out is tvOS 17.6.1.
iOS 17.6.1 is out. At least Apple didn't say bug fixes and improvements or something lame like that.
Apple released a number of software updates yesterday. macOS 14.6, HomePod Software 17.6, iOS 17.6. and watchOS 10.6 hit the streets. These will likely be the last updates before the new Apple Ones come out in the fall.
This is a pretty bad phishing email. Whoever created this should not expect anyone to fall for it as it is simply that bad.
