The ESPN reporter should have known full well where Sophie stands on the issue before the story and was downright irresponsible and unethical in regards to showing the facts. They failed to follow core principles in how damaging it could be. ESPN isn't the only legacy institution that has failed.

A homeowner accused of burning down his historic Burlington mansion on Nov. 22 will appear at a preliminary hearing Thursday in Racine County Circuit Court. Robert Staton faces a misdemeanor charge of negligent handling of burning materials and two counts of felony bail jumping.
