Depends on how you're using CPI data. The inflation rate looks healthy overall but gets much worse if you take the cost of flat-screen TVs, IPhones, and other recreational luxuries out of the basket and instead only consider actual necessities like food, water, housing, medicine, etc.:

It doesn't even perceive the photo in any form that's recognizable to humans because it's instead detecting patterns in the decompressed image data values. It's how the photos on the left are "Dog" but the ones on the right are unrecognizable gibberish to AI models, even if they're visually similar.
