2026 has been an awful year so far. The personal gains this year pale in comparison to the losses. Between the sudden loss of one 12 YO pup, and now five figures deep in medical care for the other 12 YO, it's been taxing. The sweetheart we're trying to keep healthy:
The NASCAR Cup race at Chicagoland today (eero 400) has had some great racing so far. Leaving the track age and season for seven years gave it a lot of character. Needs to stay on the schedule.
"Maybe you've heard of it?" Oh. My. God. I want there to be a heckler in the crowd at one of these like the Will Ferrell/Jimmy Fallon heckler bit. "Have I heard of it? No! Tell me more about it!"
