I wasn't planning on writing 3k words about the Mortal Shell 2 beta, but here we are. Hopefully I get some solid production time this weekend to get this sucker up on the channel.

Finally checked out Between Two Fires and I enjoyed it! It was a quick read and I enjoyed the medieval horror. The standout moments for me were when it got a bit surreal. I'd give it a solid 8.5/10.

14 years ago I got Dark Souls through Gamefly for XBox 360 and my roommate got it for PS3. The paper in the background was a sheet we made to track our deaths and see who died less. I ragequit on O&S 😂, but returned to it later and it got its hooks in me.

Here's a niche joke for 10 years ago. My manager asked me to hold off on reviewing some door shop drawings for now until something else gets done first. So in my notes I put "Hodor shop drawings".
Every year in Vermont we get a couple of warm summer days in March and then snow immediately after.
I just realized that this would be on April 1, 2026, or 6 years after they first announced Mortal Shell. I remember people wondering if the announcement was real or if it was an April Fool's joke, so I think it's amazing they're continuing the tradition.
Find me my hopeful, and we will await his arrival together. Figured it out first on the Mortal Shell Discord and we got this (partial) prize 😎
