The project began nearly 2 years ago, by the end it’ll see the replacement of over 640 luminaires with over 17km of cables and it will also see the repainting of the roof! The light designer for the 1995 attraction also worked in this. Debuting later this summer!

Disney has shared a new look at conceptual video showcasing the new outdoor lighting for Space Mountain that will include different “mini-shows” every time a train is launched into space!

Disney has released a trailer for “A Day at HyperSpace Mountain”, where we’ll take a look behind the scenes of each day in the ride. It will also feature a first look at the new lighting package, that will react to shooting trains and a new merchandise line!

Today 30 years ago in Disneyland Paris the grand opening celebration of Space Mountain: de la Terre a la Lune took place. This was a massive day in the resort's history that came to an end with an incredible show. Today, more than ever, #BringBackTheMoon.

Minions Land, from Beijing, and the famous WaterWorld stunt show make an appearance in this first look, to their side several lands with still to be discovered themes.

From this image alone, we can clearly see the resemblance to Universal Beijing. A Hollywood “Main Street” leads guests to a large body of water surrounded by several themed lands, on the left of this street appears to be the flagship hotel of the complex.

The Daily Mirror’s front page for Thursday, April 9th, seems to confirm that Universal Great Britain will soon be given a former announcement and even share what appears to be the first official concept art and look into what the resort will look like!

A few people have also been selected for a hard hat tour of the Disney Adventure World project, taking them behind the construction walls and into the biggest expansion the resort has seen since its opening.

This Saturday, Disneyland Paris will hold several events for selected people and pages, the day begins at 9:30 (Paris time) for the main presentation, with current and upcoming projects around the resort and parks. News regarding Disney Adventure World and more are expected.

The most exciting week of the year for Disneyland Paris fans begins. This Saturday, April 12th, the resort will celebrate 33 years! Natacha Rafalksi, the resort’s president, will be sharing exciting updates and announcements during 33rd anniversary event. (More details below)
