I'm selling my vintage Hohner Pianet T electro-mechanical piano as designed by Ernst Zacharius. It's in wonderful condition with it's own custom stand. DM me for details if interested.
Am very much a retired raver these days but I made the exception for this last night which was a blast.
For Bandcamp Friday our full digital discography will be available for just under £30. Thanks to everyone who has supported our music this year!
Making music is a wonderful thing, sometimes you get to do things you never dreamed possible. Iin 2008 I remixed 'Youth' from Soft Cell's 'Non Stop Erotic Cabaret' an album I bought as a teenager. It's one of my productions I am proudest of. Dave Ball was a huge inspiration, he will be missed.
'Trackways Ancient & Modern' Our third and final volume of unreleased material from our archive is available to pre-order today on our Bandcamp page. This is a digital only album, which will be released upon the autumn equinox.
25 years ago today I arrived at Glastonbury to perform at the festival for the first time, playing bass for Badly Drawn Boy. There are no photos of me from that year but here are a few of The Memory Band late at night in a tent up at the Crows Nest, having a wonderful time. Photos by Helen Dulay
'As I walked out one midsummer morning for to view the fields and take the air'
Our next live show upon the summer solstice in Leytonstone with a band featuring Liza Bec, Olie Brice and Hannah Caughlin. Organised by Daylight Music there will also be solo sets by the amazing Lisa Knapp and Lucine Musaelian.
'This year at the procession's end, as has already been proclaimed, a holy sacrifice will be offered up jointly to Nuada, our most sacred god of the Sun, and to Avellenau, the beloved goddess of our orchards, in order that we may furnish them with renewed power...'
Last night was a memorable one. Performing at the magnificient St. Mary Magdalene church in Paddington with its amazing architecture and magnificent acoustics was something else and not only getting to witness Myriam Gendron's mesmerising set but also joining her onstage during her encore too.
It's been some years since I've perfomed live on stage with my project The Memory Band, pretty chuffed that our first show back will be supporting the amazing Myriam Gendron in London. 'Derrière ma fenêtre J’ai pu l’cœur à la fête Je r’garde les papillons Autour de ma maison'
